Hi, my name is Elena Sissell and I am a 2022 graduate from Clark\u2019s CYES program with a minor in sociology. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, in fact when I was home, in Media, PA, during quarantine I found a scrap book my daycare teacher had made me when I was four. She had asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I answered \u201ca mom, a teacher, or a cashier.\u201d While I no longer have all of the same dreams from when I was four, being a teacher still stands.\u00a0Clark\u2019s CYES program has not only taught me how to be a teacher, but how to think critically about the education system. For my thesis research I investigated the idea of disruption in the classroom and how students are labeled inaccurately.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\nElena-Resume-as-of-April-2022<\/a>\n
