My name is Ellie Sienkiewicz (she/her). I am a recent graduate of Clark University and a member of the 2022 CYES Praxis cohort. As can be seen in the photo above, I love goats! I also love spending time outside, making art, baking, and crossword puzzles.
In addition to my CYES major, I minored in Computer Science. My positive experience teaching for the international nonprofit Girls Who Code Inc. for two summers inspired my Praxis Project’s focus on girls’ STEM education.
I have always loved working with children. I began babysitting at age 11 and eventually worked as a live-in nanny during a gap year before attending Clark. I will be continuing my education to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary with the goal of becoming a teacher in Worcester after graduation in 2023.
