Welcome to my CYES Digital Portfolio. I am a 2020 graduate of CYES, also known as the Community, Youth, & Education Studies major at Clark University. All CYES majors develop community engaged participatory research projects, which we call “praxis projects,” and then we all produce a senior thesis on it. In this website, you will find my senior thesis (also known as a praxis thesis) a long with my own theories of understanding. The CYES major is grounded in three theories of understanding: 1) Critical theories of social inequality, 2) Theories of positionality and identity in a social context, and 3) Theories of social change. You will find my three theories of understanding in addition to my praxis thesis here, which together make up my digital portfolio.
