Hello! I’m Lily ten Berge (she/they). Welcome to my CYES Portfolio!
I graduated from Clark University with majors in English and Community, Youth, and Education Studies and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. I will graduate with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Clark in 2025.
I grew up in Plymouth, Massachusetts with my parents and two younger sisters. I’ve spent my time at Clark problematizing the systems of power we are socialized to accept. Our society is built upon systems of oppression that I aim to help dismantle. Education can be a tool of liberation when wielded intentionally. I have focused my studies on cultivating that intention.
When I’m not doing schoolwork, I can be found exposing my alter ego as a theater kid. I also enjoy oversized earrings, lavender lattes, and listening to podcasts.
