Hi! My name is Nadia Marie Tavares and I am from Fairhaven, Massachusetts. I like to call the Açores my second home. I graduated from Clark University with the majors of English and Community Youth and Education Studies. I will graduate with my Masters in the Arts of Teaching in 2026.
I have attended all girls’ schools for both my middle and high school education. These experiences have directly impacted who I am today and who I am striving to be. I am a strong feminist and this can be seen throughout my research.
When I am not taking part in educational classes, you can find me with my two sisters at the beach. Being close to the water is very important to me.
