My co-author, Kaila Skeet Browning, and I conducted “Making Meaning of Meaning-Making” over the course of a year and a half. Our research took place at Chandler Magnet Elementary School in Worcester, MA, and was primary concerned with building a pilot curriculum for race dialogues with children, conducting the curriculum, and reflecting on the meaning that we and the participants gained from the process.
