Hello there! My name is Willow McKeon, and it’s very nice to meet you (I mean sort-of, I’m not meeting much of you but you’re getting a sense of who I am through this portfolio)! I’m a double major with English and CYES, and I’m in the MAT program to become a high school English teacher, so all the work that I’ve done here has been contextualized by the thought of “how can I use this to be a better teacher once I’m in the classroom?” I like reading of course, but I also watch a lot of movies, I love music (I played drums in high school and throughout college I’ve taught myself bass, guitar and music production through a bunch of Youtube tutorials), writing, theater (I did a lot of acting in high school, but throughout college I’ve been working more on production and playwrighting), and I play a good amount of video games too (I’m really interested in the storytelling potential of the genre, and games are also how I keep in touch with my high school friends).
