Theories of Understanding

Attached is a series of essays under the wider title of “Theories of Understanding.” I have chosen to display these to you in the form of response essays. About a year ago, I wrote three essays on identity and positionality, social inequality and change. Now, coming back to these essays after a year, I have read over these essays and responded to them. You’ll see them written out in the format of an assignment, with my name and date attached to each one. Just as my name and the dates have changed, I hope you see the ways in which my perspective has changed.
